A 4-yard skip, also known as a Midi Skip, is the next size up from a 2-yard skip. 4 yard skips are great for small-medium sized projects, such as small garden clearances. It can hold up to 40 black bin bags of waste. It can also take a variety of materials including hardcore.

The 4 yard skip holds 4 cubic yards of rubbish. It can hold up to 40 black bin bags full of waste. The midi skip does not have a large volume and therefore only holds a moderate amount of waste.



Can a 4-yard Skip be put on a Road?

4-yard skips are permitted on public roads, but you will require a skip permit from your local council. These can be applied for by JustHire when you hire a skip through us. A skip hire council permit can take up to 5 working days and will an extra charge.


What is the Hire Period of a 2-yard Skip?

Our skip hire period is 2-weeks as standard. If your hiring needs exceed this time frame you can pay for extra weeks.

Midi skips will cost any where between £125 up to £250. Price is dependent on your location. In general if you are located in the south of the UK the midi skip will be more expensive compared to the north.
