A 2 cubic yard mini skip is the smallest skip hire available. The dimensions of the mini skip are:

  • Length: 1.6 metres

  • Width: 1.13 metres

  • Height: 0.9 metres

How Much Waste can you Fit in a Mini Skip?

A mini skip holds 2 cubic yards of rubbish. The mini skip can hold 20 to 30 black bin bags full of waste. The mini skip does not have a large volume and if you are looking to get rid of more waste it may be better value to go for a larger skip.

Can a Mini Skip be put on a Road?

You can put a mini skip on a public road, but you will require a skip permit from your local council. These can be applied for by the skip hire company. A skip hire council permit can take up to 5 working days and will an extra charge.

Price is dependent on where you are located. In general if you are located in the south of the UK the mini skip will be more expensive compared to the north.
